Brown warning on data-loss gaffe
GORDON Brown last night warned ministers would act against contractors who lost sensitive government data in another information security lapse.
Officials were forced temporarily to shut down the key Gateway website – managed by Atos Origin – after a memory stick containing passwords was found in a pub car park.
