Brother and sister held in Birmingham terror swoop

A BROTHER and sister have been arrested in Birmingham under anti-terror laws.

The 23-year-old man and his sister, 18, were detained yesterday on suspicion of possessing documents likely to be of use to committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

Officers said the arrests in Small Heath were not made in response to a threat to public safety.
