THE Bradford man who delivered a wanted man to police while dressed has Batman has himself been sent to jail five times in the past, for offences such as burglary and car theft.
Stan Worby, a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant in the town, told The Sun that he had his own criminal past.
Worby said: “I was quite a bad lad. I wad on the wrong side of the law until I was 24. I just got in with the wrong crowd.”
Worby took his friend, Daniel Frayne, to the station after growing tired of police contacting him to try and track Frayne down.
“I had spoken to Danny during the week and tried to knock some sense into him,” Worby said. “It was getting on my nerves having police round all the time asking for him or his whereabouts.”
Worby also revealed the story behind his outfit - he bought the £25 costume for Bradford City’s Capital One Cup final against Swansea City.
