Bishops not wanted in House of Lords
MOST people in the UK are opposed to having bishops sit in the House of Lords, according to a new poll.
The poll was commissioned by democracy reform organisation Power2010. It was part of an initiative encouraging the public to write to the bishops to ask them to join the debate on reform of the second chamber.
