Barrymore vandalises Queen picture
MICHAEL BARRYMORE has been displaying some bizarre behaviour on his first day in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The shamed TV star was hauled into the Diary Room after attempting to deface a portrait of the Queen by poking her eyes out with a lemon squeezer.
He cut a lonely figure, wandering the house on his own in the early hours, talking to himself, and becoming obsessed by a cactus plant. Barrymore, 53, got up after the other housemates complained about his snoring.
"Dennis said that my snoring was so bad he couldn't sleep so I thought I'd get up," he explained.
The kitchen was already spotless but Barrymore embarked on a cleaning frenzy, scrubbing every surface including the kettle.
Barrymore's appearance marks his TV comeback four years after party-goer Stuart Lubbock was found dead in the star's pool.
