Band on home run in race for top spot

BOY band One Direction are on target to achieve the fastest-selling album of the year as Take Me Home looks unstoppable in the race for this week’s coveted No1 spot.

The group are outselling their nearest chart contender, Rod Stewart, by three to one with their second album, which has sold 94,000 copies in the two days since Monday.
