Alexandra Burke battle boosts industry
CHART battles such as Alexandra Burke versus Robbie Williams helped 2009 smash records to become the biggest year yet for UK singles sales, industry experts said today.
Recorded music body the BPI revealed that 117 million singles have already been sold this year.
