425 million year old fossils found

SCIENTISTS are studying two tiny shrimp-like creatures that are 425 million years old.

The fossils, unearthed in Herefordshire, include not only the animals’ shells but also soft parts – body, limbs, eyes, gills and guts. They were preserved by a fall of volcanic ash.
