£1.4m fraudster dentist faces jail

A DENTIST who conned the NHS out of £1.4 million – which she spent on exotic holidays and designer shoes – faces a jail term after being found guilty of conspiracy to defraud.

Dr Joyce Trail was convicted at Birmingham Crown Court, after a five-week trial which heard she made thousands of false claims including ones for dead patients.
