Two millionth Britannia visitor
THE Royal Yacht Britannia has welcomed on board her two millionth visitor since opening in 1998.
The landmark comes after Britannia's Chief Executive, Bob Downie, was recognised with one of the British Hospitality Industry's Oscars, a Catey award for Tourism.
Mr Downie is the first Scot to receive the award in the 23 years they have been running.
He said: "It is an incredible achievement to welcome our two millionth visitor in our seventh year of being open to the public."
