Two pedestrians killed in Glasgow city centre car crash
TWO people have died after being struck by a car in a city centre.
It is understood they were pedestrians who were hit by a Range Rover in Glasgow.
Three pedestrians and the driver of the car were taken to hospital after the accident just before 11am at the junction of North Hanover Street and Killermont Street, near to the city`s Buchanan bus station.
Strathclyde Police described it as a "very serious accident".
A spokeswoman said two men and two women had been involved in the incident.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they had been called out to the scene and that two women had been taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, while the two men were taken to the city's Western Infirmary.
