The men were assaulted at an ATM in North High Street, Musselburgh, between 7.15pm and 7.40pm on Saturday.

Police said they were approached by someone at the cash point who sprayed an unknown substance in their faces.

The victims, who are both about 35 years old, were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where they were treated for minor injuries to their faces and eyes.
