Scotland shelters long-haul flyers

SEVEN long-haul flights from Asia and North America were diverted to Scottish airports during the weekend snow disruption at Heathrow.

Nearly 2,000 passengers on British Airways jumbo jets and Boeing 777s arrived at Prestwick on Sunday from Singapore, Hong Kong, Toronto, Boston and New York.
