Police appeal for information after car window smashed on Aberdeen’s Great Northern Road

GRAMPIAN Police are appealing for information after the window of a car was deliberately smashed as it was being driven along one of Aberdeen’s busiest streets last night.

The rear passenger window of a silver Honda 4x4 was smashed when the driver drove past the “Au Naturale” shop on the city’s Great Northern Road.

A force spokesman said: “We believe someone threw an object at this car as it was driven along Great Northern Road. Fortunately no one was injured on this occasion but it goes without saying that such an act is potentially very dangerous and could have severe consequences.

“It is likely that there were other motorists in the area at the time and we would urge anyone with information to contact us to help us track down those responsible.”
