Motorcyclist dies after Renfrew car collision

A motorcyclist has died after a road crash with a car.

Colin Cameron, 44, from Renfrew, was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle on the A82 near Inverbeg in Argyll, when he collided with a Ford transit van.

The crash happened at around 10.35am on Saturday.

Mr Cameron died at the scene, while the 24-year-old van driver was not injured.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Anyone who was travelling on the road at the time and witnessed the collision is asked to contact Constable Karen McCann by calling Police Sotland on 101.
