Man succumbs to injuries after Blairingone crash
A 90-YEAR-OLD driver has died after he was involved in a two-car crash, police said.
The man sustained chest injuries as a result of the collision on the A977 at Blairingone in Perth and Kinross on 17 February.
He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital following the crash.
The red Ford Ka he was driving collided with a silver Renault Megane at 4:30pm and the man and woman in the Megane suffered minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “The adult male driver of the Ford Ka sustained a chest injury. Sadly [his] condition has since deteriorated and he died on 23 February.” A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
