Fisherman dies after boat sinks off Western Isles

ONE OF three fisherman rescued when their boat sank off the Western Isles has died.
The men were found in a life-raft of the isle of Taransay, famous for the TV show Castaway, after the Achieve got into difficulties at 3pm.
They were located by the Stornoway coastguard helicopter after firing a distress flare.
The three men were taken to Western Isles hospital. Two were discharged, but police later said the third man had died.
His name has not yet been made public.
All three men on board the 10-metre fishing vessel were believed to be from Lewis.
