Fault forces plane to return to airport
AN AIRCRAFT was forced to turn back after it took off from Glasgow Airport after a fault was detected in the cockpit.
The flybe plane was due to fly to George Best Belfast City Airport on Thursday evening when the pilot declared an emergency and returned to the runway. Emergency services were alerted at around 6:15pm but were stood down when the plane landed safely.
