Cyclist killed in collision with car

A CYCLIST died after his bike was hit by a car on the outskirts of Inverness yesterday.

The man had not been named last night. Police said he was killed in the collision yesterday afternoon on the A82 Inverness to Fort William road.

Both south- and north-bound traffic was diverted after police closed the road to continue their investigations.
