LOTHIAN Buses has won the Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland (VIBES) Transport Award.

The prestigious awards programme has been marking the outstanding achievements of Scottish companies in reducing their impact on the environment for nearly 13 years.

Ian Craig, managing director of Lothian Buses, said: “This award recognises three years of hard work to reduce our carbon footprint and significantly reduce air pollution in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

“Every part of our business is now more environmentally friendly and this award encourages us to continue our commitment and investment in this area.”
