A MAN has died following a car crash yesterday afternoon on the A9 dual carriageway between Perth to Stirling.
The crash took place near the junction with the A824, with the 63-year-old driver was pronounced dead upon arrival at Perth Royal Infirmary.
He was the only person in the car at the time of the crash which happened at around 2.20pm, police said.
The man, who lived in the Aberdeen area, is still to be formally identified by his next of kin.
A force spokesman said: “Investigations into the cause of the collision are at an early stage although at this time, there are not thought to be any other vehicles involved.”
