Trams facing land delays
TRAM bosses have been forced to admit they still do not own all the land needed for the first phase of the project.
Delays caused by the long-running dispute with Bilfinger Berger mean the Scottish Government is now set to extend the deadlines for compulsory purchase deals.
Despite the original plan to complete the line by April this year, it has emerged the city council is yet to tie up small pieces of lands in the west of the city and "some larger parcels" in the north-east.
Transport Scotland, the Government's transport agency, said the ongoing row between TIE and its contractors had "significantly delayed" the project.
