Tram workers clear the way for Santa Claus
TRAM workers are busy clearing the way for the reopening of Princes Street.
The temporary opening for the festive season will see a fanfare event on Saturday as patients from the Sick Kids hospital join Santa aboard a Lothian bus for the first journey in ten months down Edinburgh's central street.
The public reopening will follow a day later with buses and taxis able to access it from 5am on Sunday.
The spectacle on Saturday will follow tonight's switching on of the Christmas lights in Princes Street Gardens.
