Tractor crash victim named
A MAN who died after a tractor and trailer overturned was named today.
Farm worker Wallace Ewen, 46, died as a result of the incident near to Hillend Farm, Fordyce, Banff, in Aberdeenshire, at around 2pm yesterday.
Police, firefighters from Grampian Fire and Rescue Service and an ambulance were called out but Mr Ewen, from the Aberchirder area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Grampian Police said: "An investigation is under way by Grampian Police into the circumstances of this incident."
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We were contacted after a report of a tractor on its roof at a farm in Banff. There was one fatality."
