A TRACTOR was used in an attempt to remove a cash machine at a supermarket.

Police were called to Sainsbury’s on Station Road in Kinross at around 3.30am.

The tractor had been used in an effort to remove an ATM machine from a wall outside the store.

Police said enquiries are at an early stage.

They are appealing to any members of the public who have information or saw suspicious activity in the Kinross area to contact Police Scotland on 101 or a police officer.
