Tories pledge boost for health visitors
THE Scottish Conservatives have pledged to boost health visiting services in Scotland to give children the best start in life.
Murdo Fraser, the Tory health spokesman, said the party could enhance health visitors with 20 million from the health budget. Nursing and medical leaders said health visitors played a vital role in the early years of children.
