IT was famously set five minutes fast to help ensure people in the city were always early.
But after maintenance work earlier this month it seems the Balmoral clock is now causing no end of confusion as to whether it is running at the right time – with several people calling in to say it was now running “on time”.
However, staff at the Balmoral insisted it was still running five minutes fast, adding that there had been a problem last week following maintenance.
