Three held over £750,000 cannabis haul
CANNABIS worth £750,000 was seized in a raid on a drugs farm, police said today.
Officers found 2,500 plants when they swooped on the property in Paisley, Renfrewshire.
Three men were arrested during the swoop.
A Strathclyde Police drugs squad carried out the raid at 10am in the town's Wellmeadow Street yesterday.
Three men, aged 36, 28 and 26, are being quizzed over the drugs haul.
The raid was part of Operation League, which aims to halt clandestine cannabis cultivation in residential properties.
