Thiefs tow car from farm
A CAR without a gearbox was believed to have been towed away by thieves who stole the vehicle from a farmyard.
Police said the owner of the Ford Granada Scorpio noticed the car was missing at about 4.45pm on Wednesday and reported the theft.
The vehicle was taken from a yard at Nethershiel Farm in Mid Calder, West Lothian.
Officers are also appealing for information after a green Vauxhall Vectra was stolen from Murraysgate Industrial Estate in Whitburn, West Lothian, sometime between 7.10am and 6pm on Wednesday.
