Theresa May puts best shoes forward on first day
OCCUPYING one of the great offices of state has not taken the edge off Theresa May's passion for shoes. The Home Secretary showed off two pairs in as many hours on her first day in the coalition administration.

She wore smart black pumps for her first Cabinet meeting, but a short time later reverted to an older pair of her favoured leopard-print shoes for a visit to a neighbourhood police team.
