Mother charged after baby's death
A MOTHER has appeared in court yesterday following the discovery of her baby son's body in a house in Renfrewshire.
The body of Declan Hainey, who was just 23 months old, was recovered from the house in Bruce Road, Paisley, on Tuesday evening.
His mother, Kim Hainey, aged 35, is alleged to have wilfully abandoned the child for long periods and in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury.
Ms Hainey made no plea or declaration at Paisley Sheriff Court.
