Tennis players given back injury warning
PEOPLE inspired by Wimbledon who feel compelled to pick up a tennis racket have been warned about the long-term impact it could have on their back.
The Edinburgh-based Scottish Chiropractic Association has urged part-time players to take action to avoid strains and more serious spinal injury.
Wearing appropriate shoes, warming up and stretching properly, and getting a correctly-sized racket are all things that can stave off injury.
