Tennant brings Hamlet to TV
DAVID Tennant is to reprise his stage turn as Hamlet for a television play, the BBC has announced.
The former Doctor Who star will perform in the BBC2 production with the main cast members of the recent Royal Shakespeare Company version – including Star Trek actor Patrick Stewart.
Tickets sold out in hours for Tennant's stage performances, which opened in Stratford-Upon-Avon last year and later moved to London.
The Scottish actor was unable to perform for a while after hurting his back.
