Teens racially abused and threatened

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were racially abused and threatened with a knife in the Capital.

The two youths aged 16 and 17 were walking in Lower London Road when they were subjected to racial abuse from two men in the adjacent London Road at 8.30pm on Saturday. A small pocketknife was then used to threaten the youths, who managed to run off and contact police.

The first suspect was white, aged 25-30, 5ft 9, skinny with a light-coloured shaved head. He was clean shaven and was wearing a thin black jacket with a thick white band around the torso, light coloured jeans and boots. He had an Edinburgh accent.

The second man was white, aged 25-30, black spiky hair which was longer at the back and shaved on the sides. He was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.
