Teams investigate salmonella outbreak
PUBLIC health specialists in Fife are investigating an outbreak of salmonella at a nursing home in Dunfermline.
Three people – two elderly patients and one staff member – from the same ward at the Leys Park Nursing Home were affected. A health board spokesman said no obvious source of infection has yet been identified. Investigations between the NHS and Fife council are ongoing.
