Tattoo DVD is not a mere pipe dream
A DVD featuring a decade of piping and drumming at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set to be released next month to mark the diamond jubilee of the world-famous event.
The 60-minute compilation features contributions from Scotland's finest regimental army pipes and drums, as well as a number of foreign bands.
Major General Euan Loudon, Tattoo chief executive and producer, said: "I believe this latest recording will be a welcome addition to the collections of piping enthusiasts everywhere."
It can be purchased from The Tattoo Shop, Market Street, for 14.95, or from local music retailers.
