Taskforce will tackle obesity
A TASKFORCE to halt the rise of obesity – the first of its kind in Scotland – has been launched in the Capital.
The Severe and Complicated Obesity Treatment Service (SCOTS)
will improve the treatment for obese patients.
Chairman Duff Bruce said: "We want to help create a seamless patient care pathway, centred on a multi-disciplinary team to change perceptions."
