T in the Park review: Shed Seven
FOR those who didn't experience enough of 1995 the first time around, lower league Britpop revenants Shed Seven came to the Radio 1/NME stage for a late afternoon with a reminder of what T in the Park sounded like way back at the start. Singer Rick Witter has worn the years well.
There was no mucking around with obscure album tracks; this was a short, sharp half hour of their most recognisable hits, and the crowd, starting to bulk out after the early afternoon's rain, responded well.
Songs like Disco Down were sparky enough to get the audience shaking the mud off and the singalong which greeted closing track, Getting Better, felt winningly spontaneous.
