T in the Park review: Eagles of Death Metal, Radio 1 NME stage, Sunday, 4.05pm
EAGLES of Death Metal brought their brand of Southern-flavoured garage rock to the Radio 1 NME stage today just as the clouds over Balado finally began to lift.
The Californian band struggled with sound problems early on but persevered to complete a 45-minute set, which included hit single 'Cherry Cola'.
Singer Jesse Hughes was on top form and proved to be one of the most vocal performers of the weekend, revelling in his interactions with the audience.
The band ended their set on a high with a raucous 'Speaking in Tongues' before taking a bow and leaving to some of the loudest applause of the afternoon.
