Swiss courts clear Sir Sean
AN ATTEMPT to accuse Sir Sean Connery of profiteering over a property deal has been thrown out by the Swiss courts.
The allegations by the son of a former business associate concerned a luxury golf resort development above the French Riviera in the 1970s.
A statement issued yesterday by the star's US agent, Nancy Seltzer, said: "I am pleased to announce the Tribunal of First Instance of the Republique and Canton of Geneva has entirely found in favour of Sir Sean and Lady Connery and has declared the demand the petition of the son of Jean-Ren Canela totally inadmissible."
