Swine flu rise at high school
THE number of children suffering with flu symptoms at a Lothians high school has increased again.
There were 173 pupils off sick with flu-like symptoms at Linlithgow Academy yesterday , up 16 on the previous day.
The total number of pupils absent also rose to 326 from 297 the day before.
There are 14 confirmed cases of swine flu at the school, but NHS Lothian is not confirming if any more children have been infected. The swine flu outbreak was down to a school trip to Belgium.
