Teens held over school disturbance

TWO teenagers were arrested and charged following a disturbance at a school which was reportedly sparked by jealousy over a trip to Disney World.

Pupils reportedly smashed glass and threw tiles off the roof of Moore House School, Bathgate, when it was announced only some would make the trip for the school's 21st birthday celebrations.

The school caters for "young people with significant social, emotional and behavioural challenges".

Director Tony Lappin declined to comment on last month's disturbance but said school trips were planned in line with individuals' education and care plans.

The repair bill at the school was reported to be 3500.
