Surgeon lands top national post
A TRANSPLANT surgeon from the Lothians has secured one of the leading jobs in the country.
John Forsythe, clinical director of the Transplant Unit at the ERI, has been appointed as the lead clinician for organ donation and transplantation in Scotland.
He said: "A huge amount of work has been carried out to help many patients."
