Stylish dining competition

The Pulse is giving one lucky reader the chance to win dinner for two, including a bottle of house wine, worth £70, at Purslane restaurant in Stockbridge.

Purslane’s casual fine dining approach aims to showcase local produce with a mix of old and new techniques using worldwide influences. Its stylish and contemporary décor encourages a relaxed dining experience to suit any occasion. With dishes such as chicken liver parfait with redcurrant jelly, pork loin with sweet potato rosti, braised chicory and caramelised apple, and sea bream with socca chips, mediterranean vegetables and caponata dressing, there is something to please everyone. Desserts are equally as delicious with choices like orange and cointreau crème brulee, and poached apricots with a pistachio cream.

To enter, simply e-mail your contact details (name, address, and phone number) to the.pulse@scotsman.com with PURSLANE in the subject line. Closing date for entries is 1 September, 2012.
