Student-run charity hosts awards event
THE only student-run children's charity in the UK held its first ever awards ceremony in the Capital last night.
Children's Holiday Venture (CHV), which is run by students at Edinburgh University, established the awards for young people to reward good behaviour, those who helped student volunteers and welcomed new youngsters to the group, and for some who showed significant behavioural improvement.
