Stroke patients denied therapy
STROKE survivors are missing out on vital therapy to help them with speech and language, according to a survey out today.
The poll of more than 500 survivors in England, for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, found that fewer than one in five received therapy in the first month after their stroke.
