Step forward with old shoes
SCHOOL pupils in Edinburgh will be donating their old shoes to help children in Africa as part of a national campaign.
The Shoe Aid for Africa campaign kicks off on 5 October and will see children from more than 500 UK schools taking part.
Kind-hearted pupils at Edinburgh schools including Dalry, Royal Mile and St Francis primaries, have all signed up so far.
The campaign was launched for the first time last year and saw more than 20,000 pairs of shoes sent to children in Mozambique.
