Stations win secure status
The east coast’s 12 managed rail stations, including Dunbar, have been re-accredited with Secure Stations status for a further two years.
The scheme, which is run jointly by the Department for Transport and the British Transport Police, encourages rail firms to improve security at their managed stations and demonstrate measures to reduce crime.
It covers all rail stations which are patrolled by BTP.
