Stars of silver screen return to the theatre
THEATRE workers bid around the clock on an internet auction website in an effort to buy back lost photographs, which sparked a police investigation.
The framed and autographed pictures of a collection of greats who appeared at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen were posted on eBay about a decade after they mysteriously disappeared.
Now three are to be returned. Theatre chief executive Duncan Hendry said:
"We have managed to purchase the Margaret Lockwood, Edward Fox and Svetlana Beriosova signed pictures."
