Stab accused's father charged
THE father of a man accused of stabbing a teenager to death in Ladywell, West Lothian, has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice in connection with the incident.
David Andrew Gibson, 44, from Livingston, appeared at Linlithgow Sheriff last Friday for full committal on the charge.
His son, Andrew Alexander Gibson, 22, was charged with the murder of 17-year-old Connor Muir, which took place on March 6.
The youngster was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and two drug offences following his arrest.
